Welcome to our site!

This web-site is called Turkick. The reason is that we get a "kick"from being on small and larger trips in the nature. We therefore wanted to create a site that might guide others to experience nature in different ways.

Our aim is to write about our favourite trips giving people some tips about hiking, climbing and not at least kayaking. 

Under the different pages, we will try to give good and detailed descriptions of the trips we have been on so far, so that it can make it easier for others to get started.

We aim to recommend local tours in our own county Trøndelag but also trips we have had elsewhere in the Norway.

The focus is  on easily accessible locations and trips that most people can manage. So this is not about expeditions, but rather  more or less short-distance destinations. We want to provide practical information on how we organize our trips and provide our experience in the form of text and photos.

You will find trips we have taken in Røros, e.g. canooing down Feragselva and paddling in Femundsmarka. The Telemark Canal (Lunde to Ulefoss) has its own site as well as local tours in Trondheim and the surrounding area.
